Warner Bros Music

Warner Brothers Records is a major american record label that was created in 1958 as a music division part of the original film studio. For much of it's early life, parent corporartions owned and operated it. These companies eventually evolved into various mergers and acqusuitions from the early 60's to the early 2000's. This helped it change from a stuggling label to what it is today.

Many labels were purchased along the way like 'Imperial Records' and Frank Sinatara's 'Reprise Records' in 1963. Throughout the 60's and 70's the expansion continued making purchases focusing on genres such as R&B, Rock and Pop. Iconic artists along the way included:

  • Prince

  • Eric Clapton

  • Muse

  • Fleetwood Mac

  • Arctic Monkeys

  • Mac Miller

  • Frank Sinatara

The stars have all belonged to various era's and movements so this shows history and variety too.

Arguably the label with the most influential artists. Warner may well be the one. I feel these artists had the most meaning and passion with songs and this is what I would really like to portray eventually in our sequence.
