Audience Research
Audiences mainly determine how successful albums/songs are so a target for artits to aim at is vital for them to get the right one. Our group needs to do this so weon surveymonkey.co.uk and then asked people to take the survey.

The next question leads on and asked whether narrative or performance matters more on the repsective genre. The results were very useful and stated that the alternative genre (one we are looking at) suggested a decent mix of both was needed edging slightly more to the narrative side.

As a group we liked this idea and feel that the complex aspects of some alternative songs is is something we could potentially work with.
Question 4 regarded eye catching features so we knew this would be very constructive whatever the results.

People felt the most important aspects were the location of the video and also the editing. After having reviewed this as a group we could arguably say this suits us. With the group having two skilled editors (Josh and Zak) and a more creative based person (myself). This can work well and hopefully we will apply all aspects in a successful way.

This survey as a whole has been very constructive and has almost created the right track we need to aim and go down.
Much discussion with the group is still needed but we plan do this very soon.
This was our first question, simply asking whether the Narrative or Performance aspect is more important than the other gave us a good indication as to what we think we will do.

Results mainly came back as stating performance is but also many people said it's dependent on the song which I agree with and so do my group members.

We have a few songs in mind so obviously will depend on the song and genre...
Question 3 went into slighlty more detail and I believe it will prove to be very helpful for the future of our product. This asked people what they think the most important features of a successful video is. Dramatic value came out on top which seems fitting as many alternative genre based video's usually contain a shocking and/or effective so from this it all seems to be falling into place for our alternative/ indie fueled songs.
