Equipment

A rather large amount of equipment will be needed due to our prolonged shoot in central London. This will include items such as :

  • Camera (Canon 70D DSLRs)

  • Tripod

  • Steadycam

  • Light Kit

  • SD Card

  • Extra Batteries

The Canon 70D DSLRs is the two cameras we plan on bringing. They are the school cameras and are relatively easy to use and understand. The auto focus helps save time and with Zack being a skilled cinematographer anyway  will be able to set up and get going quickly. The added option of using filters to put over the lenses for thr choice of potential darkening/distorting shots. It comes with an easy to transport and safe bag too. Plenty of SD cards will also be needed due to our projected 6 hour trip to London. We will take a spare for each camera. When filming at night, the increased settings such as aperture and iso helps the dark lighting that will be in place.

A tripod and steadycam will be needed. The steadycam is vital for a quality still shot that will be put into place and the tripod is great for a time lapse. We aim to create a few at some iconic London locations such as Picadilly Circus. The steady shots will be essential to capture our performer when singing in the London areas. A light kit is also essential to help actually get a clear shot of the performer and for my cellar with the Gold wall. Natural light will not be very sufficient hence why we need the light kit.
