First Thoughts
Upon reading the first 14 briefs, around 3 or 4 spring to mind, after watching the popular and successful products from last year, the music video brief feels like a strong front runner so far.

However, these are the four briefs that appealed to me the most.

Brief 1- A promotion package for the release of an album, to include a music promo video, together with two of the following three options:

-
a website homepage for the band:
-
a digipak for the album's release
-
a magazine advertisment for the digipak

So far, this has been the most appealing because of previous popular successful products and it looks the most manageable so far. There is a lot of variety with this brief and the ability to challenge current stereotypes and representations is also present. I am not sure what I quite want to do yet but I know that I would happily make a music video.

Brief 2- An advertising package for a new product or service, to include two TV advertisements, together with two of the following three options:

-
a radio advertisement
-
a TV programme sponsorship sequence;
-
a web pop-up
The first advertising brief very much appealed to me as it a likely potential profession for me. my ideas and creativity can easily be centred around advertising and promotion. It has been done before and been successful regarding fashion but not so successful regarding products like tea. I would probably aim for a product like a toy that can stretch out to many possibilities.

Brief 3 A promotion package for a new computer/video game, to include two TV advertisements, together with two of the following three options:
-
the cover of the game’s package;
-
two hyperlinked pages from the game’s website;
-
a magazine advertisement for the game.

This is another advertising brief but a game idea would be very hard to accomplish. To be innovative for a new game that could easily stand out would be hard because of all the current 'big boys' like Actvision and Ubisoft. However it does appeal to me due to my passion for video games and how the industry is currently growing and growing.
