LSD" (stylized "L$D"; abbreviation for Love, Sex, Dreams) is a song by American hip hop recording artist ASAP Rocky. It was released on May 21, 2015, as the third single from his second studio album. The song and video is designed to be somewhat similar to the effect of taking the drug. Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) or 'acid' is popular with few rappers. The effects of the drug are often time and movement changing of speed and the distortion of senses. This would have been undoubtebly thje desired affect he wanted when creating the video.
Sound

The sounds is just the orignal song with no extra acting/dialogue in place. The first few sounds set the tempo for the song and easily give viewers an idea of how the song will go.
Editing

The slow paced cuts are used to once again fit in with the effects of the drug. This is also the same with the use of special effects in transitions (fades and wipes) to realy give the audience a sense of what he's feeling.
Mise En Scene
In this video, the mise enscene is my favourite aspect. The intention to show what it would be like having taken the drug creates a unique effect and with the brigh and varied lights of the asian city where it was filmed. The aesthetics are very beautiful as a result of this and is inspirational to me. The sophisticated codes of dress also adds to show his wealth.

Camera
The camerawork throughout consists of an array of different shots. These can feature from extreme close ups, worms eye view or just simple medium shots all combining to help the previous mentioned effect. The long lasting shots help the slow tempo of the song.
